Creative expression is one of my favorite things to build up in children. I think often that adults forget how important art is for kids.
With that in mind, this month we are rolling out Snowflake Art with two options.
Both projects require the same basic supplies:
Canvas
Paint
Brushes
Paint Tray
Project 1
Additional Supply:
Painter's Tape
Steps
Make snowflake shape on the canvas (preferably better than mine).
Paint.
When dry, remove tape.
Project 2
Additional Supplies:
Contact Paper
Snowflake Die Cut or hole punch
Steps
Punch out snowflake shapes in your contact paper and place on canvas.
Paint.
When dry, remove contact paper.
I will say that we much, much prefer Project 2.There was something about it that was just super-fun to create. And because we had a snowman die cut we ended up using that too.

Using Themes
Okay, so confession-I love themes! They just make planning so much easier and delightfully . . . odd.
