Geometric Paper Planets

 One super, super simple craft we are digging this summer is our Geometric Paper Planets. The diversity of these combined with their low cost should make them ideal for many of our smaller libraries.

Supplies
Sheet of Paper for Space Background
Round Paper for Planet Background
Paper cut in geometric shapes-triangles, squares, circles, anything would work (for ours we used paint chips and scrapbook paper)
Scissors
Glue Sticks

Step 1
Start gluing your shapes onto your circle. Ignore the parts that hang over the edges.

Step 2
Get the whole circle covered and fill in as many gaps as you want.

Step 3
Cut around the circle to clean up the edges-this is easiest if you flip it over.

Step 4
Glue it onto your background paper and you are all done.
