When I wanted to add up a column before, I would manually type in the formula. I could do it, so I never questioned it. And then the other day, I watched as a City Clerk, whose life is all spreadsheets, find the easy button!
Highlight the column or row you want to add up + 1 cell further.
In your menu bar click on the Epsilon symbol.
Abracadabra!
A total appears!
