Yikes. With a cover like that, this is one hard sell to modern kids. This along with many others featuring dated hairstyles and clothing must go to make room for ones they will actually pick up and take home.
Yes, some books are classics and historical covers are needed, but pop-fiction is a different story altogether. You can not judge books like this alongside the likes of Anne of Green Gables.
So adieu hilariously dated material. You may be wonderful, but, sadly, all good things must come to an end.
