Leprechaun Snot

Yes, that's right. Leprechaun Snot.

With a program title like this one you can bet on a decent turnout. Because really what teen doesn't want to make a nice big bag of snot.

So when it became clear that slime programs were a surefire hit I started to brainstorm some future options for teens. Hence, Leprechaun Snot for March.

And doesn't it look delightful.

Super simple since it is just green slime with gold glitter. Because I'm certain that this is what Leprechaun Snot looks like (and no teen has dared to argue with my incredibly sound logic on the matter).

I am so very clever....

So here's my easy instructions.

Supplies
1/2 c. Clear Glue
1/2 c. Liquid Starch
1/2c. Water
1/2 c. Measuring Cups (3 of them)
Spoon
2 Bowls
Gold Glitter
Green Food Coloring
Sandwich Bag for Take Home Transport

Steps
Bowl #1-Mix water and glue completely.

Add color and glitter.

Bowl #2-Pour in your liquid starch.

Slowly mix the glue/water mix into the starch with a spoon. Make sure to get all of the glue out!

When it becomes thick, start mixing with your hands.

The more they knead it the better it becomes.

Side note: We did the same activity for our Leprechaun Day of STEAM activities for our K-5 crowd, but instead of Snot we let them choose a color of the rainbow (get it?) to make their slime. Then we had one activity to prep for a whole afternoon/evening of activities.
