Anime Review: School-Live!

Finding a new option for Anime Club is always fun. As always we need something with not too much fan-service, language, violence, etc. and I do enjoy the hunt.

This one came recommended by another library, so I wanted to try it out. It's School-Live!

This show was quite the surprise and, if you do decide to show this one, I strongly urge you to leave it a surprise if possible. This is infinitely better without spoilers.

In short, this is a zombie show, but the entire first episodes seems like a very normal school-based series.

Here's what you should know:

Rating: TV-14

Violence Content: All episodes contain varying degrees of violence, but you rarely see much of it. Scary images are often blurred or happen in shadows or off-screen.

Fan-service: You do see a character in her underwear in a few episodes, but it is not remotely sexual. There are also a couple of shower scenes, but again you at most you see some side-boob.

Verdict: Not a bad choice for older teens certainly but do be aware of some of these mild issues. And as always, preview before you show it!
